At Healing Links, we believe that every individual has the potential to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life. Through the assessment and treatment of Neurodiversity / ADHD, we strive to empower our clients to manage the challenges while maximising their strengths.
However, We understand that the cost of a comprehensive ADHD assessment is difficult for many of our clients to afford. We know that our clients also worry about spending a lot upfront for an ADHD assessment, just in case they are mistaken, and they don’t have ADHD after all.
We listened to your feedback … and have now developed a client-focused, transparent, and budget-friendly ADHD assessment process! Introducing the innovative "Healing Links Step-by-Step ADHD Assessment Program " in 2024.
This process is unique to Healing Links and empowers you to self-manage and customise each step of the assessment and payment process to fit within your individual budget constraints. With regular communication feedback loops, we keep you informed along the way. You can pause or stop the assessment process at any point, for any reason, making it simple for you to prevent unnecessary additional expenses when an ADHD diagnosis is excluded.

Discuss assessment goals, and review current symptoms. If initial minimum ADHD criteria is met then collaboratively tailor a customized and client-focused step-by-step assessment plan. This will balance your goals and timelines with your budget constraints.
Where possible, we will use a customised pack of online computerised tests which will help to further explore your ADHD symptoms, and screen for other commonly coexisting conditions, in the most cost-effective way.
This session will further explore the outcomes and any issues found with the completion of your computerised assessments portion of the ADHD assessment process. An ADHD diagnosis may be excluded at this point, the feedback in this session will provide you feedback on whether we recommend proceeding. Please note that on rare occasions we may recommend additional assessments and/or a session to further clarify a presenting issue. Typically, however, only this one session is required.
This collaborative session involves including feedback from at least one other person in your life who can provide external feedback on your symptoms. Typically a family member can comment on behaviours/symptoms before age 12. We also recommend you bring a current close friend, or partner, to support and expand upon any current symptoms.
Whilst some may tempted to skip this session, please talk to us first on why we recommend this as part of your assessment and why this will save you $$s
After your formal ADHD assessment, we will assemble your completed ADHD diagnosis into a detailed and comprehensive clinical report. This report can then be used to support a request for medical treatment (ADHD medication), request education or workplace accommodations, as well as inform psychological ADHD coaching.
In this session, we will review your final assessment outcomes and the DRAFT diagnostic report. With your approval, the FINAL ADHD CLINICAL DIAGNOSTIC REPORT will be digitally signed and sent to you and your nominated medical professionals. Finally, we will make recommendations for treatment and management of your ADHD symptoms as well as answer any of your remaining questions. Required Session: No reports will be signed/distributed without client informed approval.
As previously stated: If, at any step, we determine that you will not meet the requirements for a formal ADHD diagnosis, the assessment can be terminated with no additional cost to you.
