Your Medicare rebate will be credited to your bank account by Medicare Services. Thus, your out-of-pocket costs for our services are reduced.
What is a Mental Health Care Plan?
The Better Access to Mental Health Care Initiative allows adults and children with a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) to receive a Medicare rebate for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
You may also qualify for additional sessions if you have other chronic heal disorders / disability. Please discuss this with your GP.
How do I get a Mental Health Care Plan/ Referral?
Mental Health Care Plans can be obtained by asking your GP to assess your eligibility.

Adult ADHD Assessment Fees
ADHD Assessments are not eligible for Medicare rebates, please check for eligibility with your individual private health insurance provider
Prepaid Initial ADHD assessment screening. (60mins)
Discuss assessment goals, and review current symptoms. If initial minimum ADHD criteria is met then collaboratively tailor a customized and client-focused step-by-step assessment plan. This will balance your goals and timelines with your budget constraints.
Computerised ADHD Assessment Package (customised)
When possible, we will use a customised pack of online computerised test which will help to further explore your ADHD symptoms, and screen for other commonly coexisting conditions.
Final ADHD Clinical Diagnostic Report
At the completion of your ADHD assessment, we will formalise your ADHD diagnosis in a detailed clinical report. This report can be used to support a request for medical treatment (ADHD medication), education/workplace accommodations, and psychological coaching.
Collaborative ADHD Clinical Interview (90mins)
HealingLinks recommends this interview be included and summarised as part of your ADHD report. Ask us why this inclusion is likely to save you money in the long term.
Additional ADHD assessment sessions as required (60mins)
As we are all unique, additional assessment sessions may be necessary as we get to understand you and your symptoms. These sessions are billed at our standard session rate and can be scheduled around any financial constraints.
